Boots for slim calves?

Anywhere? I've looked in Duo but nothing I really fancy. Does anywhere else do slim fitting boots?

Thanks!

I got some from Jones' last year. They have a zip up the inside and a buckle on the top that can be tightened too.

I got boots in LK Bennett last winter and they we're a good fit on my ultra-thin calfs.

Thanks will have a look.

Jones do a slim fit in some of their boots now although not a huge selection. Some Russell & Bromley ones are slim fitting although expensive

Twinklestein · 19/08/2013 22:09

I have exactly the same problem & I find Duo styles all rather unfashionable unappealing.

Peter Kaiser & LK Bennett do stretch boots which are less enormous on me than others. I've had some of them taken in. Those are the only ones I've found & I have searched everywhere.

Lace up boots tend to fit better because you can pull them tight. Not that I can find any in the current season, but I have some older pairs that I rely on...

If you find any slim fitting boots, please tell me! I need some...

Twinklestein · 19/08/2013 22:11

Russell & Bromley - no good sadly - I go every year in the hope that they'll have some slim ones, but they're all enormous...

mervynmouse · 19/08/2013 22:11

If you don't have any joy you can get them taken in by a cobbler. I've paid about 40 quid in the past for this for boots I really loved.

RandomMess · 19/08/2013 22:13

Duo boots do all their boots in width fittings, including very very slim Grin

mewkins · 19/08/2013 22:18

I have some from Dune but very old. I also wear knee high socks under all my boots which helps reduce the gap!

Duo's smallest size is 30cm & my calves are 28.5 cm...

FrameyMcFrame · 19/08/2013 22:52

Me too. I'd like some ankle boots but whenever I try any on my ankles are too small and the look like wellies.
Any ideas on ankle boots with a smaller aperture?

RandomMess · 19/08/2013 22:52

I have found the styles and fit all a bit of trial and error tbf

Twinklestein · 19/08/2013 23:02

Framey - I gave up on ankle boots years ago - I stick to shoe boots...

blondieminx · 19/08/2013 23:05

I've found some styles in Jones and Faith over the years to be ok. Aldo also worth a look.

missbopeep · 20/08/2013 09:07

28cm calf? Blimey- thought mine were skinny at 33! You'll never get boots that narrow- maybe thick socks and start some calf building exercises :)

mycatlikestwiglets · 20/08/2013 09:18

My skinniest skinny boots are from Gina - they are usually £££ but I got mine in the sale and they weren't ridiculous. I think most designer ones tend to be fairly slim fitting, I've never found boots on the high street which are slim enough for my calves. Worth keeping an eye on the Outnet as they often have decent reductions on boots.

DesperateHousewife21 · 20/08/2013 09:18

Theres a brown pair Ive got my eye on from Aldo called Biesinger. Its got buckles and possibly a zip and they're vair fashionable Wink

Im going there on sun so really hoping they've got some in stock to try on.
