Bourjois 1 second gloss

I was looking for a clear pink gloss (you know the type that was available everywhere when I was a teen) . I wanted a light colour but not a French pink .

So , Bourjois 1 second gloss....looked a bit scary in the bottle but most of the clear pinks are quite dark but go on nearly clear. So I thought it would be like the American Polish look.

No. Wrong. Ugh.

It's orangey terracoota. One coat looks bad. Two looks worse.
And the weirdy fan effect brush is too wide for my small pinkie finger nails.

I'll keep it for my toenails (it seems from the reviews that I read after Hmm that it lasts well ).

Totally agree, it's vile stuff. I was doing an on-line order from Boots and needed my normal Bourjois foundation and some concealer when I noticed hat there was a buy 2 get one free offer on Bourjois. So I chose a nail polish as my free item (the fact it was free is my only consolation!). I chose a 1-second 'gel' effect in coral which looked relatively subtle in the picture. It is vivid, lurid orange, absolutely horrible, and as you say the wide brush is far too wide so the finished result is a right bloody mess. I put it on my toe-nails and my husband actually laughed! He says it looks like house-hold emulsion paint. It is really too bright, too luminous and just too thick and difficult to apply. And why does anyone need to apply their nail-varnish in one second anyway? No-one's life is that busy!!! Rubbish product!

Bourjois is owned by Chanel

I tried a dab of that colour yesterday in Boots as I couldn't figure out how it would look on the nail ... Shock Not sure how it would look ok?! I did think it could look ok layered over a red as a topcoat possibly - might look coral?

I tried it on my toenails.

Took it straight off again.

Might fob it off onto DD for when she does her nails.
