Tan or brown casual boots

I am after a pair of boots for the winter - something that will be robust, calf or knee length (not bothered), comfortable, preferably with some kind of squidgy sole and will work with both trousers and casual dresses.
I like a fairly plain style - not too many buckles and whistles. Good quality - I can spend up to about £150, but I would like them to last a few years.

Any tips?

I was thinking of looking in Ecco, as my last casual boots were Ecco, but there is nothing I like so far.

I don't know any other casual brands, so please throw some names at me!

Camper

My ipad doesn't like their website so I can't link to individual boots.

Watching with interest too. Watch out for Camper if you have wide feet like I do, they are very narrow!

Try Clarks maybe? Their boots are really comfortable. I like Camper too, but their soles are a bit slippery for snow.
