Hi All, I wonder if anyone can help me. Looking for a decent winter coat for my toddler. Want it to be wind proof, waterproof etc and hard wearing. I don't mind spending a bit for something decent but not for the sake of it (not really into designer stuff iykwim)

Have come across P.O.P stuff before but never bought it, after trying to buy a waterproof jacket from M and S only to have it rejected by DH as he hated the fake fur round the hood I am struggling!

So what I am trying to say, albeit in a very long winded way is, do you think they are worth the money and is it best to get a fleece to go with them?

Yes, they're great but you need a fleece. The fleeces are very good.

Good things but get them from eBay unless you have a printing press....

They are brilliant, hold their value very very well and last forever. My friend has a hand me down one that is on it's 5th toddler and looks like news still. Plus they are big so they last at least a winter. DS has one and I can honestly say his wet weather gear is better than mine!

You can buy the waterproof coat with fleece and they will be toasty, its a good all year round coat ESP teamed with fleece for winter and they do wash very well. Or wait till the winter stuff comes out and get the all singing all dancing winter coat. It's quite expensive but I have never heard my children say they are cold! eBay is worth checking, and have you also thought about Spotty Otter, not as expensive but also very good.

The Po.p coats are great & truly waterproof unlike some other supposedly waterproof coats. I only buy them in the sale ir with the 20% voucher they send out though.

They're great, although you do need to get both layers for winter.

We always buy next year's size in the sale as they are expensive. On the sizing - they come up quite big so definitely worth trying on.

Have checked ebay but to be honest I have never really managed to get used to it, I can't be bothered to wait 3 days whilst a sale ends! John Lewis have got an offer on so I might just bite the bullet and go for it!
