I used to use these wash-in wash-out shampoos. Not damaging to the hair, colour not too strong and not even semi-permanent.
They don't sell them anymore
Anyone use something equally easy, temporary and harmless to hair?

Superdrug do small bottles of their own brand

I remember using them but they never did anything

I used to use these too Have just got some on eBay for my dd.

That is a blast from the past I went through a lot of them at college.

What were the ones that came in a little triangular prism shaped box?

I have used the superdrug ones. About £1 for a bottle which will do 3 washes. (Go for a darker shade than you think)

I find that the colour guide isn't great and it works much better if you leave it on 20 mins instead of 5 (found that tip online).

Oh and the superdrug ones leave the hair lovely and soft.

I find the superdrugones work surprisingly well to blend in my grey ... and I have a lot of grey!
