Tiffanys locket?

Silver, heart shaped with 2 tiny diamonds in the centre.
One of my sisters would like to buy(with me) for another sisters birthday-she has had a tough year.
However I am not sure.
Is it considered a "young present"(she will be 39) ?
Would it fit with her usual style-relaxed/smart casual mainly?
I`d like her to be able to wear it most of the time, but am not sure if it is a bit "naff".
I am usually clueless about jewellery and would appreciate your thoughts.

I like Tiff, only have a couple of pieces, the silver open heart shaped necklace with matching earrings, bought for me, but have worn them on/off for 12 years. I'm 43. Would love a gold lock or heart (budget permitting). I have some fabulous jewellry bought on holidays around the world and love to window shop. I think Tiff is lovely and timeless and a lovely gift. she will wear it for many years. hope this helps

Oh, and I wear mine regularly with jeans/t-shirt and (not) regularly with dress ups!

I have quite a few bits of Tiffany. They are timeless and like the previous poster, I wear them dressed up, wearing jeans, at work. It will be a classic piece and your sister will love it. And there's nothing quite like seeing that white ribboned, turquoise box to make you feel better Smile

I'm not sure which locket it is, but if it's something like this then I don't think it's too young. I personally don't find the design very appealing - it's a bit old-fashioned IMO.

If it's more like the 'Please return to Tiffany'-jewellery, then I find it quite young. I have a small silver heart with that text and I'm not sure I'll use it when I'm 50 (I'm 30 now and still use it). The same goes for the locks and the keys IMO - some designs more than others.

I love the Diamonds by the yard - here - I find them to be very classic and works with everything.

Another item I really like is the bean - here
