I notice that in a few recent threads people have been recommending balm cleansers.
Any particular brands to look at ?

Elemis and Emma Hardie ones are both divine.

Clinique Take the Day off Cleansing Balm is amazing.

Is it? it's also ££££s so is it any different to something for a fiver? I begrudge paying lots for cleansers...

oliviafrombolivia · 16/08/2013 19:23

there is a nice Botanics (boots) one available in larger stores which I have had and liked.

I need some new cleanser and am tempted by Clinique but it's a big step up from the Loreal I use which is £2.50 ish on offer! I prefer for spend my money on treatments and creams, but nevertheless it's tempting.
Might try the Botanics.

Boots botanics and sanctuary hot cloth one are both good

It isn't a balm but superbugs hot cloth cleanser seems to be highly recommended. It is about £5. Someone said it was half price at the moment but not in my local store. It co,es in a box with 2 muslin cloths.

The Emma Hardie one is lovely as is Alpha H cleansing oil (called an oil but definitely a balm).

There is also a lady on eBay who makes/sells balms which are lovely and a fiver a pot.
