i have two and i think my bikini days are over. it's not my weight/body shape it's that crepey post baby belly thing. tbh, i would have thought that most people wouldn't want to expose their tums after having had a couple or more kids.

or is it just me Blush

I do on holiday, so long as the pants aren't too low cut at the front, I'm not bothered (too low cut and my crepey mum-tum sag will hang over the side...Blush, on the shame). I wear a tankini with hotpant shorts to the pool in this country.

lou33 · 15/06/2006 13:33

i dont do strenuous swimming activities

ggglimpopo · 15/06/2006 13:34

muma3 · 15/06/2006 13:35

never Blush wouldnt put that on anyone, im not that cruel

ggglimpopo · 15/06/2006 13:37

When I get back from town I am going to start a thread on other women's bosoms.

NomDePlume · 15/06/2006 13:39

mine are magnificent, ggg. The only bit of me that hasn't succumbed to the horrors of pregnancy/childbirth.

Enid · 15/06/2006 13:40

my body is quite frankly shite after baby number 3

but I care not

blueshoes · 15/06/2006 13:48

Size 6/8 but with a nasty cs scar and overhang. No. Now preggers with No.2.

Bugsy2 · 15/06/2006 13:49

I've only got the two, but still wear bikinis. I've got a swimsuit for ploughing up & down the pool but on the beach I want to get my tummy brown!

oliveoil · 15/06/2006 13:52

I have a section scar but unless I have extremely low cut bottoms you will not see it.

nailpolish · 15/06/2006 13:57

ENID its only been 5 minutes since you had dd3!

i personally like tankinis

have you seen

Feistybird · 15/06/2006 14:05

Yes OO, I would have to be showing my breakfast for my C-scar to be seen.

Jasnem · 15/06/2006 14:05

I do. Did when pregnant ,too.

Tommy · 15/06/2006 14:06

I lasy wore a bikini on honeymoon - 5 years ago. two children later and I really don't think anyone wants to see my tummy and I certainly don't want to have it out in public... Blush Sad

peachyClair · 15/06/2006 14:11

yep. I have three. couldn't have got away with one before, but lost weight last year (no bikini before baby either mind!)

Wore one for the first time two weeks ago, no one died / vomited so as far as I m concerned all OK

Do have stretch marks if you look closely. anyone who looks closely is a tad odd thougfh!

lou33 · 15/06/2006 16:53

i'm in a bikini as i type!

motherinferior · 15/06/2006 16:55

I have to say I have never gone in much for bikinis but, emboldened by you lot, am contemplating encasing my 43 year old flab in one this summer.

Although am secretly hoping that the beaches of Crete, where we're going, will be populated by the sort of sturdy Germans (with lesbian feet) who take all their kit off in a sturdy sort of way. I can do Sturdy Nudity with a lot more calm, for some reason, than a bikini.

schneebly · 15/06/2006 16:57

no way - I am only 26 but 2 children and years of fatness have left me looking like a big cat has clawed me down my middle! Should have been more vigilant with the cocoa butter!

lou33 · 15/06/2006 17:09

MI,it really is not a big thing when you are on the beach, you will wonder why you were worried in the first place

Marne · 15/06/2006 17:12

I wear them, but not infront of anyone i know (apart from dh and kids!

Cod · 16/06/2006 10:32

TOTALLy agree with lou
relaly no one is loking at you, in fatc years ago afetr ds2 when i wroe an all inone to a ebach in spain i was stared at mroe for wearign that imo

Enid · 16/06/2006 11:39

lol @ sturdy nudity

I know what you mean I am sure I look much better nude than in a bikini

dressedupnowheretogo · 16/06/2006 11:41

im 30 weeks and sat in my garden in a bikini and i have huge stretch marks and im normally a size 16 with huge boobys stuff em

dinosaure · 16/06/2006 11:42

No but then I never dared wear one before I had kids - I don't know why as I was perfectly presentable!
