Ok so I am drowning under mail order bras in a desperate attempt at regaining some semblance of normality after birth of dd. Nothing fits properly. I think I am about a 34c but with nothing at the top. Tbh I've not been measured as last time it literally ended in tears when the lady told me I was an odd shape and they couldn't help me. Pre nursing I liked balcony bras for the uplift and support they gave.

So. Can I use the home measure method whilst nursing (if so I will buy a tape measure)? And if so can anyone recommend a padded nursing bra that lifts is quite low cut and doesn't give that squished flat look that I often get? At the moment I have a few bravado seamless ones and they are ok but show over some of my tops. If I was clever enough I would try and convert a normal bra but I'm not!

Yes, measure yourself as per the guide and if you want, post your measurements here. Someone will be along to suggest some sizes and styles.

I'm no expert about BF but I know some people just wear a normal balconette and pop their boob out over the top Grin

I had massive problems getting a nursing bra to fit and I spoke to T-J at www.bras4mums.co.uk who was a lifesaver [I was a size K!]
Where are you located? T-J now has a team of local fitters in the UK who will come to your house with samples of styles to try - I think she even does skype fittings!
I hope you get sorted soon as the whole nursing bra issue was a real pita for me when I was trying to juggle everything else with a newborn - good luck!
