Hair dye recommendations

Hi all,

Am looking for some recommendations for good hair dye to do at home. I normally get my hair coloured at the salon, but am on maternity leave now, and am looking to reduce outgoings!

I have quite a lot of grey, but it's mainly it patches towards the front of my hair, and regrowth is hidden quite well by my fringe.

In terms of colour, I like a warm brown, but without red tones.

Thanks in advance! :)

Look for something with ash in the title to avoid red tones. Also, always always choose a shade lighter than the one you want to achieve. Home dyes always go darker than the box shows so you get roughly the shade you want by picking a colour one shade up from what you want if that makes sense?

Thank you :) Have gone for a John Frieda Natural Light brown. May ask my friend to apply it for me tomorrow, so I don't get patches.
