My DH has had surgery today for pancreatic cancer, he is a bloody tropper! I'm just back from seeing him in recovery- he hasn't had any water yet but his poor lips looked so sore & dry. I want to buy him a lip balm to take in tomorrow, it's not going to drastically take the pain away but night make him feel a bit more human and less yucky. Can anyone recommended (beyond the classic Chapstick) a lip balm suitable for men? The more masculine it is the happier he'll be. Thanks s&b'ers

Op - let us know which one you opted for in the end and if it did the trick/met with your husband's approval! I too wish him well for his recovery.

Dermalogica do one that would be perfect. Their branding is gender neutral, you can trust their ingredients etc and you can use it anywhere.

Hope he feels better soon.

Body Shop Hemp Lip Protector? Quite masculine looking and herbal smell. Best wishes to you all

Hello & thanks for everyone's great suggestions.

I went to my local salon to get the dermologica one as I've used it before & know its really unisex & nice to use but they didn't have any in stock! Didn't have time to dither so bought a £13.50 givenchy one which is in a little tube- has red lips on the front but really seems to have done the job- not that DH minded, it doesn't smell sweet or anything & is nice to use. DH was pleased & despite having the use of at least one hand now asked me to put it on for him!

Thanks to all you for your kind wishes. Thanks
