Foundation for 35yo

hello all

First time question :)

i'm 35 and had the terrible realisation today that the type of foundation i've been using for about the past 15 years is no longer really cutting it. i've always tended towards sheer/dewy finishes and at the minute am using bare essentials (more for speed in the mornings than anything else TBH).

I really need something with more coverage and which has some kind of (magical?!) properties to 'soften' lines and blemishes etc.

don't mind spending a bit (by which i mean up to about £18) if it is really good quality but happy to go cheaper if it does the trick.

thanks all!

Try Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation (not serum). Loads of threads about it on here, I just switched to this from Estee Lauder Double Wear which I've been using for the past 12 yrs. Healthy Mix gives pretty good coverage and if you blot and apply some powder it lasts well to. I have combination/oily skin. Best bit is it only costs a tenner !
