Nursing bra help needed

Hawkmoth · 12/08/2013 15:03

I really need a recommendation for a good value, decent nursing bra with lots of padding. I'm not very even and need the padding to minimise the difference. Currently wear two sizes bigger type bras and undo and lift to feed baby, not ideal in public.

So, are there any REALLY padded nursing bras out there?

Thanks in advance.

Mothercare have some t shirt nursing bras I believe- my friend swore by them

Yes I had a good unwired and padded one and I can't for the life of me remember the brand. Will try and hunt one out to check as I have a new one somewhere. Hotmilk are very good, not massively padded but give great shape.

Have a look at the bravado bliss nursing bras, they might work.

Thanks. Is there somewhere I can go and have a feel of a few?

Bravado. It's not massively padded compared to say a wonderbra but as nursing bras go it's good. I have a BNIP one here going spare but doubt it'll be your right size (38B/C). I think it's this one in ivory www.bravadodesigns.com/shop/uk-en/the-allure-underwire-nursing-bra

The John Lewis near me had a few, literally a few, but enough to have a feel of. Worth trying there?

Hawkmoth · 12/08/2013 22:43

I will see if I can get there. I'm a bit skeptical if I'm honest, but DH has quite rightly said that a bra isn't a good enough reason for not feeding in public.

I have the bravado seamless silk which has removable padding - not loads, but gives a nice shape. Might be worth a try?
