LOL Remus. When I was working, it was the opposite - my work "wardrobe" was the antithesis of stylish or beautiful (surgical scrubs, clogs, surgical hat and mask). My off-work times were the occasions to dress up!

FeetUpUntilChristmas · 11/08/2013 07:57

Navy Per Una Shorts
Walmart Vest Top in pink
Over my Tankini
With Havianas

I'm on a beach holiday, it's hot and I've given up on S&B, not even wearing make up

HellonHeels · 11/08/2013 08:53

Cycling kit - day out on the bike. Not my most glamorous look Grin

Pompbear · 11/08/2013 11:34

Pewter sandals - blow fish
Khaki/green chinos - m&s
White cotton broaderie top - sainsbos
pale green with charcoal spot cardi - white stuff via charity shop
Hair in messy bun

I've tried a little bit harder today.

Black knife pleat midi skirt - Whistles-esque but actually v old John Rocha iirc

Black v neck t-shirt - M&S

Leopard print ballet shoes - Clarks

Silver pearl necklace - made by friend

Silver and leather cuff - market in Greece

Marcheline · 11/08/2013 17:47

I look dull again today.

Jeans - 7
Navy T - jigsaw
Havaianas
Grey pearl stud earrings.

I'm looking forward to going back to work next month, when I'm on mat leave I just can't seem to muster up the energy. Work clothes offer a bit more scope to be fancy.

Remus, I like the sound of your outfit. I never wear black, for some reason I don't think it suits me. Is that even possible?

foolssilver · 11/08/2013 19:35

Met a friend in town and went quite casual.

I wore

Black Topshop Leigh Jeans
Black and White Breton striped Top - H&M
Black Topshop Boyfriend Blazer
White Converse high tops
Tan Mulberry Roxanne

foxysocks · 11/08/2013 19:48

i didn't try at all today - terrible period pain and solo parenting at home all day. wore v v v old red jersey hotpants (billabong) and an oversized cotton breton gifted to me by a MNVer (can't remember the brand - MiH?)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/08/2013 19:56

Thanks, March. I wear black pretty much exclusively, except when I'm wearing grey! I 'think' it suits me - can't see me suddenly embracing colour anytime soon, anyway!

Foxy - Hope you feel better soon. After two periods that were only 2 and a half weeks apart, this one seems to be taking its time coming (it's now 30 days, I think). Am not looking forward to it!

ShoeWhore · 11/08/2013 20:14

foxysocks · 11/08/2013 20:29

thanks remus. since DS (now 2) was born my periods really knock me out for the first couple of days. by day three am usually ok again, it just sucks big time doesn't it?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/08/2013 20:32

It certainly does. And having finally plucked up the courage to go to the doctor and to have a smear test, I got a letter yesterday saying that they hadn't been able to get a result and I have to go again. Arghhhhhhhhh.

Sorry for the hijack, Pinup. To return to the subject, I am now wearing White Company yoga pants and an ancient Gap lacy camisole (from when Gap was good).

Corygal · 11/08/2013 20:36

Remus - your S&B 'fail' sounds remarkably like an Isabel Marant 'First Class'.

I'm wearing gentleman's spectacles, a tabby cat and a stripe maxi dress from Uniqlo. Am wondering if I am decent enough to nip downstairs for a takeaway, am awful 'glowing' from housework.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/08/2013 20:38

:) The tabby cat sounds like THE accessory for A/W to me.

trippleM · 11/08/2013 20:45

Today I have been wearing skinny pale blue cropped Jeans and slouchy silky cream top both from mint velvet and tan clarks originals sandals, and orange linen scarf from jigsaw. Accessorised with baby sick.
