Are these nice trousers?!

Just bought these www.zara.com/uk/en/woman/trousers/jacquard-loom-trousers-c269187p1436087.html trousers in Zara and really like them. BUT, friend just said they look like curtains! Can't decide now ... Help!!

I've seen a lot worse (ie those patterned polyester harem-esque/pyjama things). Are you slim of thigh? It's just that they look a bit shiny.

Hmmm 'seen a lot worse' isn't a ringing endorsement . I am very slim of thigh - size 6/8 and skinny - especially my legs and no bum. But I am getting on a bit so don't want to be wearing something too young (and shiny for me!).

No, I think they will be fine. If YOU like them, that's what matters. The shininess would be my only reservation. Are they shiny irl? They could look v cute with a slim fitting cashmere jumper, for example.

Thanks - no not really that shiny - more just patterned. I do like them and they fit well just I usually buy plainer things I think so scared :-)

Yes to 60s vibe. Not sure about the colours but this sort of shape maybe?

I like them, they're a classic shape but just a bit different, which is no bad thing IMO

I've seen them in the shop and thought they were great. Only thing that stopped me was thunder thighs and being v short. With slim legs I bet they look great. And it's a pattern but a 'self' pattern so it doesn't jump out at you.
