Is this website ok?

www.uniformwarehouse.co.uk/html/skinny_leg.html

Does anyone know where you can get miss sixty trousers suitable for school online? I'm housebound!

Thankyou

I can't be the only mum in the whole world hunting for these

Not used that site but there is an outlet on Ebay (Fashionwize, I think, something like that) that sells them.

I sent for some for dd's but had to return them because they weren't long enough. They were good about refunding promptly, but of course I lost money posting them back.

They seemed ok as shool trousers though (the material is quite stiff feeling though I thought), it's just that my dds are so blimmin tall I needed something a little longer.

But oh the holy grail of grey, skinny school trousersHmm. It's driven me nuts over the last couple of years. In the end, last year, I bought some (very nice) bootcut slimfit ones from Next and narrowed them myself by taking in the side seems on my sewing machine.

Here they are on Ebay.

My problem is that we have to have grey. Lots of black ones around but not grey (in v long length) for some reason. Argh!

Meant to say, if it's black you're after, I noticed the other day M&S are doing black school skinny trousers. (I already Emailed them to moan about the lack of greyGrin)

Hi iceceam thanks so much! We got those m&s ones last year. She got any with them to start with and then school decided they looked too much like jeans. I did say they were purchased from m&s school range but they didn't care. So hence I've given in to miss sixty.

Good luck finding grey skinnies! Shock

If the school didn't like the M&S ones they might not like the Miss S ones either. Could be they don't like skinnies? I must admit I was worried about them being rejected at dd's school but she assured me (with much eye rolling and exasperation)'Oh mum, everyone wears them..'

I'm sure they don't actually, but the school seem to have taken their eye off the skinny trousers argument in favour of fighting the ongoing mini skirt battle.

I thank god my dd's seem to prefer trousers to skirts because the short school skirt row seems to be a difficult one to compromise on.

And I thought a 'uniform' would make life easier..Hmm

I've just purchased a couple of pairs, thanks for that. no need to tell me about the eye rolling bit! Wink I could write that book. I too have decided skinny trousers is better than belt skirts! I know the other girls get away with miss s so I'm happy to give it a whirl! That page you recommended did have some grey ones on there. Good luck with your hunt Grin
