Help! Find me a pair of shoes please

I have a wedding next weekend. The dress is white with lots of colours through it. I have copper hair at the moment so am thinking turquoise blue shoes and something that colour in my hair would be nice. I have 3 dc under 5 so the chances of getting rounds the shops are not too good without having them with me. I want a nice heel, not ridiculously high 4 inch max, and would prefer if its strapped to my foot in some way iykwim.. I walk out of heels otherwise.

Please help Smile

Primal I LOVE those sandals. Know where to get that style anywhere else perchance?

SnoopyLovesYou · 10/08/2013 11:32

I think you need red shoes Fish!

SnoopyLovesYou · 10/08/2013 11:35

I think you need to look on House of Fraser website/ L K Bennett/ Karen Millen and get some kick-ass red shoes. Not cheap ones.

Snoopy my hair is colour of Brie thingy in desperate housewives and I want my shoes to match hat/hair accessory so think the blue / turquoise will work better? No??

And not fussy ones either. Plain red. Maybe peep toe, maybe sandal maybe court depending on your event (can't remember) but plain red, patent leather and a sexy heel ;-)

SnoopyLovesYou · 10/08/2013 11:38

No. I think blue or turquoise will look wrong with this dress.

SnoopyLovesYou · 10/08/2013 11:42

The blue detail on the dress will look really pretty with Brie-van der kamp hair and red shoes. Also these will be easier to find, classier and sexier. I personally think that blue turquoise will look a bit tacky and a bit too fussy and matchy-matchy. That's my (brutally honest lol) opinion. :-)

SnoopyLovesYou · 10/08/2013 11:45

If you must go for turquoise, I would say a very dark turquoise like the dark turquoise in the dress :-)

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 10/08/2013 11:49

What's the verdict on shoes / hair thingy matching? Cause I can't wear a red hat..

I wouldn't do red or turquoise TBH.

I think gold would look good, and neutral so you can wear any other colours for hat etc.

Something like these

tethersend · 10/08/2013 12:34

Teal could also work.

tethersend · 10/08/2013 12:35

Teal again

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 10/08/2013 12:49

I like the gold but not the teal.. Am very confused now Sad

I'm going to go to the hat hire place and see what happens..

I prefer the gold anyway.

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 10/08/2013 12:57

Just reassure me the dress isn't too white for a wedding?

tethersend · 11/08/2013 21:27

Oh, it should be fine Smile

WetDog · 11/08/2013 23:59

My first thought was "eek, white for a wedding."

Sorry Sad

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 12/08/2013 07:27

I got a very deep teal pair if high stroppy sandals and a hat on a band type thing in the same colour..

I've been to lots of wedding where people wore white / cream base colour dresses with patterns on. I've also shown it to the bride to check she didn't have an issue and she loved it.
