Dress, tights and shoes! I'm an 'autumn' in colours so though it may not be to some people's tastes, the pattern does suit me.

But does it look smart enough for a church christening, if I have my hair done and take a clutch bag? I'm usually in jeans and t-shirts so any kind of dress will make me look smarter to the relatives!

  • Or I think I'm an autumn anyway, there doesn't appear to be anyone in my town to diagnose me Sad

Is the Christening in Autumn too?? Black tights look great with the dress but not v summery if it's soon iykwim.

It does look smart enough though.
Are you a guest or part of the main event?

It's in late September, and I'll be a godmother.

Maybe if I take a large present it will take the focus off my outfit?

I love this www.simplybe.co.uk/shop/blogger-pocket-rocket-dress-in-collaboration-with-simply-be-designed-for-you/pk551/product/details/show.action?pdBoUid=7541#colour:Pink Print,size: but I can't carry it off!

I think black tights in late Sept are fine.
The pink is fab too though
YOU need to be comfortable and not worrying about whether your present is big enough.

Grin I know, I'm just so uncomfortable in dresses, I almost feel I'm in drag!

But it's hard to look good in formal trousers over a certain size I think, and even though I'm not religious my family are, and I don't want to look I'm being disrespectful.
