H by Hudson Boots

I have been lusting after a pair since seeing them on S&B last year. Although I can't really afford them I am thinking I need a treat and could buy them as a 'asking H for divorce' present to myself?! Blush
Questions... Do I get the Horrigan Tan or the Encke Suede Tan? And how is the sizing? I am normally 6.5 so is a 6 or 7 a better bet?
And how do they last? I need them to last forever at this price!
And will they go with skinny jeans and dresses/skirts? Thank you Grin

They are very nice. I prefer the Horrigans as I prefer leather to suede, and I like the straps more than the buckles. They would go well with skinnies, dresses and skirts. I'm afraid I don't know how they fit or last though.

Thank you dexter. Any other opinions?

I have some encke boots which I am very fond of. I've tried styles like the horrigan but I actually think their styles without a zip are hard to get on and off so would choose encke just on that basis.

I am a narrow footed 6 and definitely need their size 6 so I think you might find it too small.

I would be reluctant to pay full price as the boots can often be picked up for less (mine were about £80 from shoeaholics). I would shop around but unfortunately I think you've just missed most of the sales. Worth checking Asos, office etc for any remaining sale stock.

I have the encke coal - leather rather than suede - and I freakin' love them! They're great quality and look fab. Size wise I'm a bog-standard 5 and they fit perfectly, so not sure what you should do. They do stock some in Office, though, so you could try them on for size there and then look for specials online. Treat yourself and enjoy!

AppleYumYum · 09/08/2013 08:10

They that brand on ASOS sometimes, often have reduced or on sale...

Ooh I hadn't seen any non-suede Encke that could tip the balance! I will try to get out to try on or look for some on asos when they're doing free delivery & free returns. Thanks Grin

I have the encke in beige suede, and love them. I've worn them all winter as they go with just about everything.
I'm not as keen on the horrigan, but am rather liking the napton in tan leather.

I'm a 6.5 and Hudson's don't fit me Sad
I've tried horrigans, enke, and lots more.

Horrigans in a 6 were a perfect fit round my ankles, width wise on my foot, but my toes were at the end.

Horrigans in a 7 were like wellies.

Good luck op!

Annianni · 09/08/2013 09:33

Sign up for office emails, I tried the horrigans when they had a 20% off offer on.

OP, I have got my eye on these but want to go into the shop and try on first. Am counting on them going with skinnies, skirts etc.

LalaDipsey · 10/08/2013 07:30

They are gorgeous Smile am thinking I need to track them down to try on and then be prepared to leap when there's an offer on!
