Powder foundation?

I'm looking for a powder foundation that gives a light/ medium coverage and is quick and easy to swoosh on before running out the house.

Bismuth makes me itch like a motherhubbard so Bare Minerals is out.

It needs to have a good range of colours and not be too orange toned (I'm looking at you Max Factor). In other stuff I wear Bourjois Healthy Mix 51, MAC NC15, Estée Lauder DoubleWear 1n1.

I want a more affordable one, and not by terry prices!

Have you looked at Jane Iredale (sp?)? I usually use Bare Minerals but tried the powder JI a few days ago. Was very impressed. There's lots to her range including a liquid mineral foundation.

Clinique almost powder makeup is good, and very quick to apply. Don't think it contains bismuth either.

Avon do a cream to powder foundation that you just wipe on and boom. You also don't need concealer either(used it myself and my skin is horrendous because I'm a vile spot picker)

I used the lightest shade they do and I like to think I looked quite lovely.

They also have a mineral powder but as you've mentioned that's probably not for you. Never used it as I don't really understand it (it has a weird colander on the top, wtf).

Cream to powder stuff is normally about £12, not too pricy.

Bare minerals MATTE version doesn't contain bismuth, the original one does.

I use Lilylolo and I've found a reference on their blog which suggests they should be ok:
