DIY colour analysis

I can't afford to have my colours done but I'm always intrigued so trying to work it out for myself. Been reading up online but to be honest, a lot of the examples just look the same to me.

So anyone fancy trying to help me?

I have mid-dark brown hair (greyish from age 15 so specifically n&e cool dark brown). No warmth, a dark chocolatey brown.

Dark blue/grey eyes. Dark eyebrows.
Pale skin with pinky undertones. With freckles on nose/cheeks. I tan eventually but I'm pretty pinky/pale generally.

My guess is winter cool or clear but I'm not sure which...

Care to have a guess?

Its not about your hair/eye colours. Its all to do with your skin tone.

Unless you're really obvious cool or warm then it is impossible to tell. All the online quiz' put me as a summer (pale, blonde, blue eyed) but I'm a winter. Even then it was touch and go whether I was a spring.

The best thing you can do is try on lots of clothes and see what colours make your skin look clearer and your eyes look brighter.

pompbear, I've been trying to do this too and it's impossible! I've decided I'll ask for money for a proper analysis towards it for Xmas.

If you were having an analysis they would cover your hair anyway as its dyed, so its colour is a bit of a red herring.

I know it's a lot, but save up! In the interim, as you can't know for sure, why not look at the seasons at Kettlewell, and try and group your clothes - see what season you've got most of. Your existing wardrobe will look better if you pair the right colours with each other.

I too am pale/blonde/blue eyes and also got a summer with self analysis. But I prefer autumn and winter colours and think those suit me more.
