I'm working in my Mum's chip shop for a week soon. Theres a festival in town and it's extremely busy. I'll be working 12 hour shifts in a hot kitchen. What do I wear?

Mum provides uniform for waiting staff and will reimburse me for anything I buy, but I dont know what to wear?

It needs to be cool and easily washable (and preferable quite cheap). I'm a size 20 and any shorts need to be covering my knees.

Can anyone help? I'm just really stuck.

My friend who does event catering wears shorts, vest and apron. Mostly primark and supermarket - cheap and washable as you said.
