Please can anyone help me find a dress for an October wedding, I have trawled the net and I am flummoxed

I am 5ft 8in, apple shape, size 14 but can get into a generous 12 ; ) being an apple I have good legs, but I am 34 ff so large of norks! I have dark brown long bob and blue eyes, very pale skin. I also like to keep my upper arms under wrap!!!

Is there any hope? I fancied a 1950 style wiggle dress but wonder if it is the right style for me, sigh

Maybe I should forget a dress and look for something else?

Please help Flowers

isabelle oliver is quite good for your shape (imo anyway) am an apple size 16

A wiggle dress tends to work best on someone with a more hourlgass shape, so possibly won't be great on you. You need something that skims over the areas you don't like and an wiggle dress will merely emphasis these bits!

From your description, you're a very similar shape to LibertyLondonGirl, so I recommend googling her and looking through her blog for ideas.

Thanks but isn't isabelle Oliver maternity wear?

I was thinking a little more slinky and sassy... (am I allowed to say that? )
