I love the YSL "felt tip" eyeliner

But it is expensive - does anyone use one which is a bit cheaper?

The mac one is really good andi have just started using a soap and glory one which is pretty good

Collection 2000 Fast Stroke. It's £2.99.

SnapesOnAPlane · 04/08/2013 12:47

I have one from Ruby & Millie, bought in superdrug a few years ago for about £2, iirc. Bright red case, the tip is a bit thicker than I'd like though.

PeoniesPlease · 04/08/2013 13:07

Thank you. I will give these a try. Particularly like the idea of spending £2.99 - that will be first on the list.

Collection 2000 do a beautiful range, very cheap and very good quality. Look in Superdrug.

CVSFootPowder · 04/08/2013 13:17

The Collection 2000 one doesn't look like you'd expect. it's in a pot type thing with a long handle, not a pencil type container. It only comes in black and the only problem you may have with it is that it's quite a fine point liner. I only use it for a fine tightlining, but my niece uses it for a winged look sometimes and has no problem. Lasts all day too.

i gave a teenage mate my no17 one as it was too harsh on me

she rates it

As a former makeup artist and a beauty junkie I love trying all products, from cheap to damn right ridiculous prices.

One of my best finds was the h&m felt tip eyeliner, yes really...h&m! [Shock]

£2.99 I think. My clients has all liked it too.

Colditz, that's a newer one I think, I've been using the other for years. I'll have to try that one. Thanks for the link.

Thanks everyone - I'm going to go to Superdrug tomorrow to get the Collection 2000 one. How nice to spend £2.99 instead of what I was paying for the YSL version.

Max factor do one, I think it's called precision liner or something like that (may have used mine so much the writing has worn off!) it's about 8 quid, but worth it as I use mine everyday

sophiedaal · 04/08/2013 20:38

Bourjois one is also very good, for about £7?

Marylou2 · 04/08/2013 20:58

I have the YSL one and also a Rimmel one and both are OK, quite frankly it's hard to tell the difference apart from the price. However, I got the Eyeco liner free on one of last months magazines and it knocks spots off both of them! Super easy to apply. Stays put all day. Will definitely buy one when it runs out.

Capitola · 04/08/2013 21:02

I've got the Max Factor one.

I like it - I go over it with a brush to soften the line.

Iatemyskinnyperson · 04/08/2013 22:54

Catrice calligraphy liner. It's 'mazin!! I have a good many others, but this one is best and its decade cheap.

Iatemyskinnyperson · 04/08/2013 22:55
  • dead cheap.

Why correct dead to decade ipad? Dead is a word??!!

hollyisalovelyname · 05/08/2013 10:20

I bought the Boots one. It's crap. Dried out sooo quickly- like 5 uses.
