Help me accessorise this dress please!

So I've got a rare girls night out in a couple of weeks and in a giddy fit I bought this dress today:

Possibly also egged on by DS who said I looked beautiful in it...sooo...was a bit helpless and melty I don't normally take fashion advice from a 3.5yr old, but fortunately it has stood the trying-on-again-at-home test!

However - I don't know what to do with it. Any suggestions for shoes/accessorising?

I don't really like it with black shoes and my 'going out' shoes (all 2 pairs of them) are black.
I was thinking maybe a contrasting colour...? Any suggestions?
Jewellery - just earrings?

For context, I have mid-to-long length blond hair, am late 30s.

metalic heels,intersting cocktail ring and medium to large clutch bag.

Not thought of metallic - could be an interesting option. I'm not good with rings though as I tend to fiddle with them too much. Last time I bought/wore one it got tangled in my hair and sort of dented the cool sophisticated air I was hoping it gave me!

Gorgeous dress. Gold or bronze heels with a chunky necklace would look great.

I'd wear hot pink shoes with that dress, but then I love a colour clash!
