Hi, I am collecting my home whitening kit from the dentist tomorrow but I'm worried about one thing. He didn't suggest cleaning my teeth before using the trays. Is this normal, do I not need to have a good clean & polish before using the trays? I would have thought that I'd need to have any plaque removed to get a good result. Obviously I'll ask him tomorrow, but he seems a bit unenthusiastic about the whole whitening thing so I'm concerned that he isn't being as careful as I'd like. Anyone know the answer? Or anyone have any other advice? (I've been thinking about having it done for ages, but now that its actually happening I'm having all sorts of second thoughts!) I'd really appreciate any feedback, TIA.
