Can a pale redhead wear camel?

I woud have assumed so but a couple of friends have said no. Am just thinking about post baby autumn wardrobe and fancy boot cut jeans with a camel jersey blazer. I'm pale ( but not alabaster pale) with reddish hair that often ges called strawberry blonde.

This one can't wear camel alone.

That said, I would wear a camel blazer but would make sure that the top underneath it was a good strong colour and wear it with a similar scarf.

This one can't either which is a shame because I really like it. I did have a lovely long camel coat once thought but it looked ok because it didn't fasten so there was another colour under my face.

I would think so yes. Try one on and see how you feel.

No I am a red head and steer clear of camel and beige.... drains you

Your friends are daft. "Camel" comes in about a billion shades. And some redheads look absolutely gorgeous in the right camel/caramel/coffee shades (pretty sure Joan Holloway has a recurring cafe creme type ensemble). If you put it on and it looks good against your face and hair, you can wear it. Unless you are very, very pink I'm sure there will be a shade for you.

I have a friend who is a pale strawberry blonde and she looks good in camel jackets. She can't wear strong dark colours though.

The camel I'm looking at is quite a strong one by the look of it- it's the Whistles jersey blazer. I steer clear of anything pale. I have a couple of other camel garments and think they look fine but now feel a bit worried; I'm not good on visuals and the friends were quite definite about it. I think I'll order it and try it on.

You'll probably be ok in quite a strong one. It's the paler tones that look awful on me even though I have one in my palette - a CMB Autumn.
I was admiring that Whistles blazer too and if they made it in my size I'd have ordered it.
As I said earlier, I'd avoid wearing a too pale top underneath it.
Try it and let us know!

I think as long as it's a darker shade of camel and not beige/stone based, it could work on you. Definitely try it on! Have you thought about what you'd wear with it? Camel can be tricky to match.
