Jeans and smart jumper, silk shirt, cotton shirt,.

Effectively whatever top you wear with a suit and then pair it with jeans. If go for loafers or heels too.

Or a shift dress?

Don't forget accessories. That can easily smarten more relaxed tops. Say a knit or shirt.
