Naked Palette help

I've just had an email about this offer from Savvy Mummys

Is this the Urban Decay palette? If so, I could well be tempted at that price!

Has anyone bought anything from savvy mummys before? Any experiences - good or bad - welcome please.

Yes that is the Urban Decay one. Never heard of that website tho.

Rocksie · 31/07/2013 22:29

I found a website to check the authenticity of other sites. It's called www.scamadvisor.com

It says savvy mummy's is a trusted site

WaxyBean · 01/08/2013 05:28

Thank you. I have ordered it now (squeals with excitement)!

If that site is definitely genuine then that is a smashing deal, even if it doesn't include the primer that normally comes with it (or did they get rid of that?). Really tempted to purchase one as a treat for me... must resist

JennySense · 01/08/2013 15:50

I looked at it but I found it odd that the only reference to urban decay was in the photo?

Vibbe · 01/08/2013 16:40

I don't think that it's the Urban Decay one, but instead I'm quite sure it's a copy.
You can also find it here: dx.com/p/12-color-make-up-eye-shadow-palette-set-w-mirror-151400

There are some things that don't look like the Urban Decay palette.

lizandlulu · 01/08/2013 18:29

I have the urban decay one, I just opened it up, and it does look the same inside, apart from slight variations on the colour, it that could be down to the lighting. The deigns is the same.

Bargain!!

Vibbe · 01/08/2013 19:21

Found this blog post about fake UD Naked palettes: www.theblackpearlblog.com/2012/08/urban-decay-naked-palette-and-ebay-fake.html

And I agree with the blogger - there's no way of knowing which ingredients are used for the fake eye shadows. They could contain something toxic - it has been seen before.

Personally, I'd rather buy something more trustworthy.

lizandlulu · 01/08/2013 19:30

Wow that is some detailed fake! I didn't realise the fakes were as good as that

SorrelForbes · 01/08/2013 21:52

The MUA palette is very similar to the UD one and a bargain at £4.00.

OneLittleLady · 01/08/2013 22:05

I have the MUA palette and it's great, lovely pigmentation and good selection of colours

JennySense · 01/08/2013 22:20

I have both of the similar Mua palettes. They have good reviews online for being very similar and good quality.

starjules · 01/08/2013 22:23

The sleek au natural palette is fantastic. I have the UD one and the MUA one, but prefer the sleek one.

TallulahBetty · 01/08/2013 22:27

The MUA palettes are amazing quality for just £4.

dementedma · 01/08/2013 23:53

Urban decay naked is fab. Use it every day

valiumredhead · 02/08/2013 15:10

Looks like mine-bargain

ThePortlyPinUp · 06/08/2013 18:35

Just had an email from them and its definitely the urban decay one :)

Mccclaire · 26/09/2013 15:08

The savvy mummy naked palette is definitely fake. Urban decay have confirmed this so savvy mummy are selling counterfeit goods.

GatoradeMeBitch · 26/09/2013 16:05

That's an interesting post Vibbe but I found it a bit strange.

I bought my Naked palette from House of Fraser, and it has some of the 'fake' touches, like the embossed print on the back, and the same lettering design on the inside - but mine came in the purple plastic box, and has a serial number, and I know the shades are genuine - I have Half Baked in two palettes and a single, and they're all identical.

Mine was the original edition, with the double ended eyeliner instead of the brush. I wonder if the old ones had the packaging disposed of, which was picked up by fraudsters?
