Come on all you fashion/style conscious ladies. I need your help and would appreciate some guidance...
I've bought this dress

OK, it doesn't look like much I know, but when I tried it on it just seemed to work. It's for a wedding (very soon). It's nothing like the style I was aiming for when I went shopping but I tried it on by chance and liked it. It might help to know that I'm an awkward tall, thin and non-curvy sort of shape.
Anyway, I picked up a pashmina in a silver-grey colour (which is the same shade as the lighter colour in the pattern) but I'm lost about shoes.
It's for a wedding. No idea what the weather will be like.
I was thinking sandals, maybe silver. I'll need at least a medium heel given the length.
Also, handbag? Jewellery? I'm lost. Getting the dress was difficult enough!
Thank you Smile

I think it is a lovely dress. I would go for silver sandals and maybe a really chunky silver bracelet with silver ear-rings. I would go for a different colour of handbag, probably orange, to mix it up, but that's just me! Alternatively neutral wedges could work.

Enjoy the wedding!

Thanks, MyBoys. It doesn't look much online (or on a hanger) so was expected some "urgh"s.
I like these but can't get them anywhere in my size

Do you think something like that would be a good match? Any ideas of places to shop? I'm running out of time now - as usual.
As I said, I'm a bit clueless about this and would be far more comfortable in my flip flops or converse Grin

Hi cleas - they are nice, would they go with your pashmina? You could afford to go for a really blingy silver pair though. Not sure where else to look - I have just ordered lovely Clarks pink suede wedges from Debehans as they have quite a good sale on so might be worth a look there? Am hoping someone more fashion-savvy than me will come along and give an opinion!
