j crew chino shorts - sizing?

I think a few people have these shorts - what is the sizing like?

I am a UK8 but always size up in shorts as I like them a bit slouchy and on the hips. I don't know whether to go for a US2 or 4, or just order both and send back one.

Sizing is very generous. If you're a small size 8 then I'd say a 0 or maybe a 2 at a push.

I'm a UK size 10 and the J Crew size 4 are a comfortable fit so definitely try size 2!
