So, I bought this dress for a wedding thinking it would be easy to choose accessories for. I'm generally rubbish at shopping and live in jeans or shift dresses at work. But I've tried on lots of shoes now & have baffled myself. I have no idea what colour/style of shoes or accessories to buy...black, metallic, blue??

Please help point me in the right direction oh stylish ones or I will end up going to the wedding wearing converse! :)

It's hard to tell the length of the dress from that link. Above or below the knee? I like silver accessories with white. Snakeskin clutch might be good.

MrsMoon · 29/07/2013 22:21

Thanks for replying. Its above the knee so that's making me a tad nervous being too 'heeley' in case it looks a bit much. Have swithered over silver sandals & have some poised in asos shopping basket - will now go seek out snakeskin clutch :)

Link to the sandals.... Yes to silver or pewter and snakeskin.

Potential shoes here:

Anywhere in particular I should look for snakeskin bag?

I wonder if white and silver might be a bit too bridal though?

Leopard print or pony print shoes could be good.

MrsRogerSterling · 29/07/2013 23:02

Hmm, I'm sorry I don't like those shoes, a bit too 'strictly come dancing' for me. Having thought about it I am now thinking orange would be good for shoes and/or accessories Smile

I know what you mean Remus - that's what was making me think go for burst of colour. Will add leopard & pony to my increasingly animal based shopping list :)

How about these

Or these

Or did you want more of a sandal than a shoe?

libertychick · 29/07/2013 23:12

Hmmm hard to find snakeskin print bag!!
Here's a few ideas...

Grey clutch

Not snakeskin but might work

Bit of a statement!!

Zebra print

MrsRogerSterling · 29/07/2013 23:12

these are gorgeous but expensive

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/07/2013 23:13

Jones the Bootmakers had a snakeprint clutch earlier in the year iirc.
