Oasis's weird jeans sizing

I like their Cherry crop. I do not understand why some I've tried on in a 12 are fine and some I can barely get on. For instance the khaki ones I have are quite roomy, the black ones (which were thicker denim) I tried on today in the shop and I couldn't fasten and the paleish blue ones which were inbetweeny thickness were perfect. All size 12 Confused

I like the cherry crop too. I particularly like the indigo ones, as I fit in a 10, which is unusual for me Grin

Yes, I LOVE being a 12 :) But they are also v flattering. I wanted to buy 12's in black but couldn't fasten them. Damn it! Do not want to have to go up a size.

I tend to find black jeans smaller in most shops - is it something to do with the dye?

SorrelForbes · 29/07/2013 09:13

I think it could be. Black bras are notorious for coming up smaller than other colours.

Oh well I'm glad it's just not me who has this with them. I thought I'd had a sudden weight gain over the space of a few days. How weird about black clothes being smaller. I think we've discovered a new odd clothing dye phenomena :)

How odd. I've got their standard Cherry jeans (not crop) in blue and the cropped ones in a cobalt blue and they both fit perfectly. Neither are black of course - I might have to try some black ones on next time I'm out shopping just to test your theory Grin
