Which hairbrush?

I'm looking to invest in a decent hairbrush - my current one has definitely seen better days. I have just-below-shoulder length hair with a kink in it - usually straightened every day. Any recommendations?

I like the Denman brushes. I got mine from Boots.

I use a Tangle Teezer but I have slightly longer hair which does tangle a lot - if you need to get rid of knots it's a lifesaver though

It sounds like you could do with a paddle brush, denman or kent are good quality.

Thanks ladies, like the look of Kent, Hugo. Should I get 2, one for drying (i.e. straighten whilst I dry) and one for brushing?

If you brush your hair straight as you dry it with a hairdryer, you might want a vented brush for that.
