Irritation after waxing

I'm not a very allergic person but I'm having weird reactions every time I have my legs or underarms waxed. They itch unbearably about 24 hours later and I scratch so much I make them bleed. It wakes me up at night.
The beautician has tried everything, from changing the wax to changing the before and after products. Yesterday we literally used wax and nothing else. I applied cold wet flannels afterwards. I've not showered or used any products on them and yet they are now very itchy again.
Is this common? Any suggestions how to avoid it??

Make sure you exfoliate well a couple of days before waxing .After waxing take an antihistamine and you could try aloe Vera gel instead of after wax. Hope this helps .
