Mid to high factor facial sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast - does it exist?

I've been using Bioderma Factor 50+ in the last few weeks and it's certainly doing its job - I've not had a hint of even the slightest pinkness. So hurray for that.

However, it does make me look a lot paler than usual. I have put foundation on top of it today but I still look like Casper the ghost despite blusher and lipgloss as well.

Can anybody recommend a sunscreen (factor 25 at least) to wear under moisturiser and makeup that doesn't make skin look white? I don't need it to be tinted, just not white!

Thanks

My experience of La Roche Posay Anthelios is awful. I covet Clinique City Block and SunSense SPF 50+ which is also UVA 4* rated. I am not sure about Clinique's UVA rating. Mustn't forget that it's the UVA rays that make you wrinkly!!!

Clinique is both UVA and UVB- says so on the box/ on leaflet I think.

Another fan of the Clarins. When I first put it on, I always think "eek it looks a bit white!" But a minute later it's fine. It feels lovely and soft on too - not at all greasy. I think this might be because it's a physical rather than chemical block (that's just my guess!) it's UVA and UVB protective. Really pleased with it.

LaRoche Posay Anthelios 50 also comes in tinted which looks much better than the white.

I use Sunsense 50 which has a tint and also Skinceuticals again with a tint.
