Vaseline Spray & Go - buy it!

I have moisturised my face and body every day/night for at least thirty five years! Ok, the face isn't blushing with youth, but the skin on my body, especially my legs is very good.

My teenage daughter expressed an interest in a body moisturiser but couldn't be arsed with the same dedication that I have in applying lotion.

Until now! vaseline spray & go is perfect for the 'lazy' moisturiser!

We've bought the cocoa radiant fragrance and it is excellent. Top to toe moisturised in thirty seconds!

Smells great but not overpowering. Moisture lasts all day. Not sticky as it dries instantly. Cheap as only £4.99 in Boots.

Other fragrances include aloe Vera.

I'm using it as well to save time in the morning! Love it!

i may try this. thanks

27cats · 25/07/2013 09:28

Thanks for the tip!
I've just tried the Nivea in-shower one but the smell is not to my taste and it leaves the shower tray very slippery, so this may be my next purchase. Smile

CointreauVersial · 26/07/2013 02:01

It's OK, but it goes all over the floor, which is a pain!

spicywalrus · 26/07/2013 09:46

Thanks for the tip, will give it a go Smile.

Pipparivers · 26/07/2013 09:48

What I great advert!

nkf · 26/07/2013 09:55

Great promotion. Well done.

malteserzz · 26/07/2013 10:19

I agree it's lovely I've got the cocoa one too also agree about the shower one, stopped using it as it made the shower so slippery was worried about someone falling over

Mabelface · 26/07/2013 10:31

I buy a huge tub of aqeous cream for a couple of quid from Superdrug and use that to wash with. My skin is gorgeous.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 26/07/2013 11:57

bugger I have just bought the nivea shower one but not tried it yet.

InMyShreddies · 26/07/2013 12:49

Grin I know you're a MN regular but that does really read like an ad! Will def give it a go, I should moisturise more but am too lazy.

PostmanPatAlwaysRingsTwice · 26/07/2013 12:51

I think the reason the skin on your body, particularly legs, is good is probably that it's had much less sun exposure than your face...

centralmum · 26/07/2013 13:20

I have it and really like it. Hated in the nivea in shower one. Such a disgusting smell and yes, makes the shower really slippy.

LittleNoona · 26/07/2013 13:24

I brought this the other day, I got the one in a yellow can.

I'm converted, absolutely, it's amazing stuff! I never moisturise my body because I don't like the sticky, tacky feeling you can get with some moisturisers.

The Vaseline one sinks in so quickly and you can get dressed almost immediately.

Have been moisturising all over e dry day since I got it Grin

ceebeegeebies · 26/07/2013 13:27

I am a convert too Smile it is just so easy to use. I have the cocoa one and it smells lovely although I agree that you haveto be careful where you spray it.

ShoeWhore · 26/07/2013 13:38

Hope they are paying you OP?

shaggyrogers · 26/07/2013 13:54

I don't think it is cheap. It is £4.99 for 190ml whereas a 200ml bottle of the same moisturising lotion ( not in a spray can) is £2.99. I don't find normal moisturiser difficult to use - squirt out and rub on!

peggotty · 26/07/2013 13:58

If it 'sinks in' straight away it makes me a bit dubious about its ability to provide proper moisturisation. I use E45 lotion, in the big bottle with the pump dispenser, and my skin is amazingly soft, particularly on the legs.

valiumredhead · 26/07/2013 20:27

I love the Nivea shower one,I use a bath mat so not noticed it being slippery. I shave my legs with it,it's lovely.

Will try the spray.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 26/07/2013 20:36

ooh valium you have restored my faith, unfortunately ASDA delivered mens silver shower gel instead so will have to wait to try it.

valiumredhead · 26/07/2013 20:39

I like the white bottle for dry skin not so much the bottle for normal.

I get it in tesco on offer for 3 quid and it's a huge bottle.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 26/07/2013 21:44

ta will look for it next time I am in town.

lizandlulu · 26/07/2013 21:55

I asked if this was any good last week, I have been looking at it and wanted to try it but usually buy everything new and get disappointed. I think I might try it!

QuinnFabray · 26/07/2013 22:27

I prefer the Garnier 7 days one, and it's cheaper.

Branleuse · 27/07/2013 07:33

i bought some of the aloe vera one yesterday. Really nice.

cafenoir · 27/07/2013 08:17

I like coconut oil. Don't fancy a spray as it sounds as if it might also moisturise the bathroom floor/walls etc. Nice to get recommendations though.
