My hair is looking rather dry on the ends, it was trimmed at the end of May and I am trying to grow it longer so I don't really want it cutting again. Its like a medium brown, coloured. I've heard about the solid form of coconut oil that you can get in the supermarket, I may be going near Sainsburys today - where abouts can I find it (as I've had a very quick look before & couldn't find anything) & what would I need to do with it once I have it! Will it help with my dry ends?

Morrocan Oil from Toni & Guy and salons alike, you can get a little bottle for £10, just rub a tiny amount in the dry ends and it's mega.

Any coconut oil or olive oil is fabulous for dry ends. Just comb it through, leave for as long as you like (put on a shower cap and wrap your hair in a towel). Massage in shampoo and rinse (repeat) to remove. It's amazing and much better than commercial silicone stuff.

We've just been talking about this in the officer where I work! I have curly hair and in this weather (humid) it takes on a lovely candy floss look. A colleague suggested Argon or Moroccan oil; I'm off to Boots after work (other chemists are available!!)
