I don't know what's up with my face but the last 3 months or so (so before hot weather!) it's been very shiny. My make up now is just slipping off my face and I need help!

I use a moisturizer specifically for oily skin and the put on a body shop foundation (I am scared of choosing the wrong colour so have stuck with this one for years as I know its just right, have started using a translucent powder too.

Have tried OCM but didnt do too much for shine. Do I need a primer? Polyvilla? Something else?

i use the bare minerals primer, brilliant, and even better now that they have a neutralising one which takes all the pinkness out of my skin too. fabulous. the smashbox primer is supposed to be excellent too.

Do I still moisturise before a primer? Or primer first? I have no clue!

You moisturise if you need it, then use primer, then foundation.

I'd try an oil free moisturiser if I was you.
Smashbox oil free primer might be good for you, alternatively Laura Mercier mattifying secret finish.

For a cheaply, the tesco Barbara whatsferface primer is good. A little
Pot of magic. But have to agree with Laura merrier and chantecaille is good too. Worth a trip to space nk for advice if you can? Primer after moisturiser and before base. Loose powder is good... Nars finishing stuff is lovely

I find it best to use blotting papers regularly during the day rather than trying to stop the oil forming as most things don't work. I like the Paul and Joe ones best.
