You can never have too many ....

According to one of the women in In Style magazine, this sentence should end with the word 'bikinis'. She claims to have 30 and to take them all away on holiday with her. Just the thought of shopping for 30 bikinis is enough to make me want to lie in a darkened room for a good couple of hours. So what can YOU never have to many of?

I'm thinking: baby wipes, spare pairs of pants, and bottles of champagne Grin

You can definitely have too much silly fashion advice!

nice knickers and bras
French Sole ballet flats

Tights. Needed in lots of different deniers, colours, patterns, footed and footless, etc, etc.

Except in this heatwave.

Sandals and boots
Proper shoes hurt my ankles.

Thus comfy, dressy, highish and low sandals and boots are essential.

Also I agree with cardigans. Tie fronted shrugs and boy friend cardigans are essential to dress up and down summer outfits.

I'm a SAHM, it would be lovely to own three different blazers, but a great deal of the time I'd feel a bit over dressed.

I'm a short size 16, with big hips. It's very hard for me to look casual in a jacket. If it's not fitted and done up I just look square and scruffy.

Socks for all family members. Pants and vests for kidsGrin

juneau · 23/07/2013 15:37

Yes, I'm with you on the skinny jeans and cardigans - I was converted to skinnies last winter by a very clever sales asst in Levi's and I haven't looked back.
