Mascara recommendations please!

I've just got to the end of my no.7 extreme length waterproof mascara and fancy a change.
I don't have a huge budget (£15 absolute maximum) and would be wearing it day to day. It needs to be waterproof as I always seem to get caught in the rain!
I'd love your suggestions please?

I had a make up lesson with a make up artist as I'm so crap at it! a while back and she recommended Max Factor False Lash effect. I really like it. It's easy to apply, doesn't leave black bits over my face and lasts for ages. Don't know if it comes in waterproof too but I can thoroughly recommend it.

Max factor masterpiece non-waterproof I think is better is than the waterproof.Previously I always used the waterproof... and whilst it was good, was difficult to remove.I bought the other in error and found it didn't run down my oily eyes and came off on a daily basis without taking my eyelashes with it.

I tried that Max F one and I hated it- in fact I binned it because not only did it not build my lashes, but it made my eyes water. I was sold it on the basis it was better than their 2000 calorie one.

I swear by Lancome Hypnose- tend to buy when they are special offer packs of 2 for £30-ish which is quite a saving.

Budget version is Maybelline The Falsies- purple tube which is pretty good.

Ooh thank you, think I will have a play in boots and John Lewis tomorrow then!

L'Oreal lash architect 4D is my all time favourite.

I've been using Dreamweave for a few months now - lash serum and mascara combo - I really recommend it :)

The Lancome offer is still on JL website- usual price is £21 each.
