can bra people help please?

the nice ladies at m and s insist im a 34b and always have but bras in that size are painful and dig in at the front.
i have been wearing a 34c but they aren't very comfortable either and after a couple of washes they leave indentations between my boobs so i measured myself today and came out with measurements of 30 and 35. what size would that make me please?

that would be a 30DD.

Can I perhaps hi jack and give my measurements too please?

I've got 30 and 32- I did it without a bra- I have no bras that fit! So I leant forward as I measured in the middle of my breast along the nipple...is that right?

measure at the lowest part as you are dangling - which may or may not be the nipple depending on your boob shape. The under measurement should be firm the over more relaxed

Geek that would put you in a 30B if accurate. what size are you wearing?

Oh my word! I'm wearing 32 DD!

I did the lowest point. My boobs look massive though!

I measured this morning and hit 27 and 33. I have really very small boobs. What should I be trying in and also where can I get bras for my small boobs?

Can anyone suggest places for a 28C that don't look like teen bras? DD needs bras but is fed up with having to buy teenaged stuff as she's 23.

They feel like the cup is too small and band is too big

OK, it would certainly make sense that the band feels too big as you measure 30 underneath and that's a much more reliable measure than the cup measurement. So I would suggest we start at a 30 back. The cup on a 34DD is equivalent, in terms of volume, to a 30F. So, start with maybe a 30FF which is effectively one cup up from what you are currently wearing.

I don't have a clue why the measurements are so far off - I think a lot of trial and error will be needed.

I mentioned on a couple of other threads that I've friends whose across bust measurements don't relate at all to their required cup size. They are both shallow breasted though with a wide root.

I will nip to town and have a good old trying on session.
