Moulting cardigan

I've just bought a cardigan containing 14% angora and its moulting really badly!!

Is there anything I can do to stop this? Shall I just keep washing it to get all the excess fluff out? Would this work?

Pop it in a plastic bag in the freezer overnight

I had a similar problem with a cardigan from monsoon once. Took back for full refund. They agreed it was faulty.
