Vest tops for shorties?

So ALL the summer vest tops are bloomin' dress-length on me (I'm 5'2").

This works well with skinny jeans, but looks crap with short summer skirts.

Where can I buy short vests?!

(I did find a nice one in H & M's teenage range, but would prefer non-glittery styles).

I will be watching this thread with interest, I'm 5ft 3 and are having the same problem. I need a couple of decent qualty ones for work but can't find anything suitable anywhere. It doesn't help that the autumn/winter stuff is starting to appear in the shops!

I keep forgetting about sites like shopstyle . The only problem I'm having is finding vests that look smart enough for work, some of the cotton ones start to look a little lived in if they're washed too often.

I'm 5'3 and Dorothy Perkins strappy vests are a good length on me (although am longer in the body than in the legs sadly!). They are 2 for £8 at the moment.

primark has some plain,ribbed, 100% cotton vests in a rainbows worth of colours. They are not too long nor too short. I'm five foot exactly and they are just about the right length on me. £2 each as well

I've had the same issue with cotton tops looking a bit bedraggled after a few washes. 'Tis odd - I'm not used to seeing myself in summer outfits! It doesn't feel like me in the mirror (not that I'm complaining about the sun).

I've had perfect plain ones from LandsEnd the last couple of years - but this year they don't seem to have them in petite. Its a shame, they're good quality cotton and cut nicely just right so that bra straps don't show.

oooh I have the very same issue. I am 5'1 and have a short body. I like my vest tops and tshirt to finish AT my waist. I have found nothing this year. I have a few old m&s vests and a couple of 10 year old Matalan vests. Since then I have just wunderwebbed primark and DP vests :-(

Also might add I have tried loads of petite range tops and they all seem to be longline!! Rant over
