Agree with nutcracker - can't understand the snobbery about it.

I don't have England flags on my car - but that's mostly because I don't want to draw any unwanted attention to my car - have no problem with other people sporting them on their motors

Personally I think the women's England tops are a bit of a style disaster - but by the same token I doubt that leander and others are going to wear them with some strappy sandals for dinner with their dh. More like down the pub on match day (so what's wrong with that)....

Dd and ds have a fine collection of England t- shirts to wear.

And yes we like football in this household (not just jumping on a patriotic bandwagon) if that's okay!

I have an england t-shirt from M&S and its nice and dd has one which dh bought months ago, dh has flags on the car and a few england t-shirts, vast majority of people are wearing them but i'm not going to judge anyone for not wearing one, each to their own Grin

have to say that I LOVE footie but HATE all the tat that goes with it.....

My DH is a snob and it has rubbed off on me over the years.

I HATE replica kit on adults who aren't playing football..

Think they are ok on children (not got DH one though).

I also hate flags flying from houses during world cup - would understand it more if anyone put them up for St Georges day or other England sport but not just for footie.

I am proud to be English everyday not just when the world cup is on.
