M&S footgloves? You may need to try several styles within the range to get the one that fits you best, but they are padded and soft, so easy to walk in.

DD1 has used these as school shoes for four years, not fashionable, but very comfortable. She on at least her third pair. We pray they don't stop making them before she leaves.

Have a look at Reiker, honestly the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
loads of different styles

Any of the Skechers Go Walk range. Light as air, roomy for toes, soft bouncy soles, instant comfort. And don't make my feet sweat even without socks. And washable.

thanks everyone,

go walk sounds tempting, especially as they are washable. I looked at those earlier in summer too, didn't think about them being good for work!
