Nails - hands and toe - what colours?

Having my nails done this week for my hols - what's "in" at the mo?

Neutrals are always good when your going to be going from beach to casual to snazzy.

A 'nude' slightly deeper than the skin tone always looks good. Hardly inspiring but ideal TBH.

A deep charcoal grey (hint of pink or blue depending on skintone) is maybe worth a punt. Love the way it looks.

I tend to to stick to bright red myself which - like leopard - is also a neutral, IMHO

I usually go neutrals on fingers for holidays, its less maintenance than bright colours. I've got pastel lilac on at mo which is quite summery

Neutral for fingers, brighter colour that goes with your general clothes colour scheme for toes, I'm going with a very pale translucent pink on fingers and I think a pale turquoise matt on toes.

I went for a putty/nude colour on my recent hols as it was easy to maintain.

I've got almost black on my toes ATM and shell pink on my fingers.

Quite fancy grey/turquiose for my toes. Was going to go for hot pink as usual!

I've just been on hol, and 2 of the girls I went eith had coraly pink on their hands and feet. Looked lovely, very summery

Nude ish on fingers, got a fab almost illuminous pink on toes.. Sounds vile but looks lovely with tanned toes.

Also bought mint green, grey and navy last week.

Used Barry M red glitter nail varnish when on holiday, as its quite heavy duty and withstands being in and out of the pool.

Mint green, that's a better description for my toe choice. Coral looks lovely on a lot of people but I don't suit it.

Glitter, there's another idea, I normally reserve those for December fingers but have a few nice ones, including a Barry M turquoise which could be just the thing for my toes. They're a pain to remove though.

I'm currently loving Chanel Starlet - it's very flattering, not too boring, but also not too wild.

Have been using Chanel Azure on my toes a lot lately - looks cool and so summery IMO.

I've just painted mine with Rimmel's Ready Aim Paint - a gorgeous bright summer red - fingers & toes.

I agree with MrsLettuce that red is a neutral. I also love hot pink with a tan and bright navy.

I had shellacs tropix, a coral pink. Looks really nice.
