I usually use my Kipling rucksacks but I've seen these and like the look of them, does anyone have them are they worth the money?

Does no one own one?

No link? I have a well loved Kipling rucksack so I'm interested...

I don't know how to do a link my DS tried to tell me but in my head was the monkey with the cymbols like in Homers head in the Simpsons when he doesn't understand something. Sorry.

I've just bought one - based on a recommendation from here if you do a search.

Link.

It hasn't arrived yet so I can't tell you what it's like!

The help on how to do links is just below the box you type in to post a message.

I once tried on one of their shoulder bags and did notice the difference in terms of weight distribution (it doesn't weigh down on your shoulder). Didn't buy one though - a bit concerned about the security of the bag being behind you, but if you're used to using a rucksack then that probably won't be an issue for you.

Just a quick update - mine has arrived, hurrah. It certainly feels like it distributes the weight very well. There is a zipped pocket on the back of the backpack, i.e. the bit that would be against your own back, although you obv wouldn't want anything too lumpy in there.

I had one and I can't say I really felt it worth the money. I can't say it felt that much different to carry than any other bag. Eventually it got too wear-and-tear damaged to use and I replaced it with a more ordinary bag and don't miss it.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 17/07/2013 22:46

Exactly the me as MojitoMagnet plus felt like an open invitation to pickpockets, although that's true of backpack type bags too. Also wasn't keen on the strap across my boobs. I use canvas across body bags now.
