Another 'comfy sandals for holidays' thread

Has anyone found this holy grail. We're going a place with lots to see, meaning a lot of walking on cobbled streets!

If possible I would like something lightweight and neutral in colour, with no toe posts bunions

I tend to buy Merrell or keen sandals as they are comfortable and seem to last ages, my keen sandals can also be stuck in the washing machine when they get a bit grubby.

They were instantly comfortable and fit beautifully above the bunion! I didn't need the wide fit, which I sometimes do. I wouldn't hike in them, but they were great for being on my feet all day in towns.

Bought these last week, they are bliss hushpuppies

I also loved these in the tan

I have real problems with my ankles and normally live in fitflops (non toe-post) or Clarks but these are even comfier.

Ecco sandals - honestly, just check them out. I've got to 49 and just found out about them, I didn't realise you could buy sandals that didn't need breaking in and felt as comfortable as a pair of slipper
Seriously, just have a look at some shoe sites that sell Ecco.

I also have bunions and Plantar facsilitis (if that's how you spell it!), so I've got some serious foot problems, too

Have been in Rome now for a week and have two pairs of Fitflop sandals which I wear for daytime walking and are really coping with cobblestones etc brilliantly: one pair Via, last years version of Bon (still on sale on Fitflop site) for town and a chunkier sports type pair for serious ruin and beach scrabbling.

Both bought in last years sales - so comfortable ! Recommend.

Have also had a couple of bouts of PF in past but not with FFs.

I have these.

They are not cheap but I am on my second summer with them and they are just as comfy add they were new, adjustable pretty much all over and well cushioned.

Spent a week trekking round Scotland on all sorts of terrain last year, including climbing stone burial mounds and they handled everything without my feet killing me at the end of the day.

I live in walkies sandals in the summer. They are expensive but they last for years and you can change the footbeds. I can walk miles in them and they come in lots of lovely colours. I bought mine online. Am rubbish at links though!

Just bought these and I was sold on how comfy they feel. I find I need a bit of heel for comfort rather than fully flat and these are not as high ad they look as they are slightly platformed. Obviously not worn fully yet but do far they feel good...

I have Merrell Jacardia in brown. Very comfortable and not too hideously technical-looking.

Have heard v good things about Wolkies from a distant relative and the pair she had (Jewel in black snake) looked good.
Really fancy the same style (Jewel) in black and White snake and going to order them so

I've just bought these Earth Spirit ones and I'm thrilled with them. I have dodgy feet and plantar fasciitis but I can walk in them, they were instantly comfortable, they're pretty, and they're cheap!!

I have these and they are super comfy.

I have the Clarks kestrel soar sandals and they are great. I would like to have tried the Saltwater sandals but got let down by Sun Sandals - they don't seem very well organised so bear that in mind if you order from them.

I'll second or third the Wolky Jewel. I've had mine for a few years now and they're very, very comfy, adjustable around the heel and over the foot and you can take the footbed out too (though I never have). I think they're currently reduced on the Shoon website.

I have a pair of Tivo Terr and have lived in them all summer. Come in lots of colours. Every strap adjusts and the sole is springy. Like a pair of strappy walking sandals. Outdoor shops sell them but Amazon often have them cheap especially if you're not picky about the colour
