Need advice for bikini wax with af

I don't often get waxing done so haven't faced this before. I have an appt after work for leg and bikini wax but my period isn't quite finished.
I could just wear a liner but don't know if you need to take pants off for a Brazilian as I haven't had one before. Alternatively, I'm worried that a tampon string could get stuck on the wax strip and that would be ugly.
I'm sure there is a 'normal' approach to this and that I'm just over thinking it.

The salon I use won't carry out treatments if they think a client is on their period for hygiene reasons.

The salon I use will still do the appointment, so give them a call and see what they say. If they'll do it, use a tampon and cut the string.

Where I go they do Brazilians etc when you've got your period. They just ask you to insert a fresh tampon immediately before your appointment.

Its fine. They've seen it all before but I'd phone and just check with them.
